Jenny began her career as a political journalist and has successfully led high-profile national and global campaigns in-house and agency-side. Prior to launching OVID she successfully built up an award-winning healthcare and pharmaceutical communications practice at another agency.
She is a former adviser to a government health minister, and has advised a wide range of stakeholders: from global pharmaceutical companies; NHS organisations; healthcare charities; private equity; the independent sector and digital start-ups.
Jenny is a trustee of Carer’s Network and the MS Trust; and has worked with many health charities in a pro bono capacity over the years.
Our associates are experienced in a range of disciplines, such as corporate communications, PR, policy and campaigns, public affairs, patient advocacy and graphic design. We also have a partnership with the events and experiential agency, Ten Thousand Hours.

With more than 10 years of experience of working in busy newsrooms and fast-paced communications and marketing teams, Becky knows what makes a good story. She is adept at carving out exciting media and PR opportunities to get great exposure for a company and brand; and is also experienced in providing healthcare clients with media training.
Victoria ShillitoOVID Associate
Victoria has a senior track record of creating successful media and communications strategies and functions that build profile for complex, sensitive issues and drive delivery on strategy. Her expertise is in writing strategies, conducting communications reviews, transforming teams, copywriting and reputation management.

Sophie is experienced in health and corporate PR, specialising in campaign management and media relations. She has achieved extensive coverage for clients across national and international media outlets. Sophie helped to launch Baby Box Co. in the UK. This free consumer healthcare education programme was created in association with the NHS and organisations such as ROSPA.

Katy is a senior PR and media consultant with over 30 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors. Her Whitehall experience includes the Cabinet Office and the COI, advising Government ministers including Mo Mowlam and John Prescott. She now works with a range of B2B and charity clients including Kicks Count and The Open University.

Andrew has over 15 years experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry across Clinical Development, Medical Affairs and Government Affairs coupled with an extended stint in the Department of Health, Andrew has a proven track record of influencing individuals and policy in a wide range of disease areas - as well as Brexit, PPRS and the Life Sciences Strategy.

Louise is an award-winning communications expert and specialises in health, science and research and the charity sector. She has worked for a number of charities including ActionAid, British Heart Foundation, Rethink Mental Illness and the National Deaf Children’s Society. She has also worked for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Hertfordshire.
